Engine Block Machining Equipment

This is our Sunnen CV-616 Cylinder Honing Machine. The cylinder honing process assures precision sizing
plus exact Ra finish in every cylinder, in any type block. The  CV-616 Cylinder Hone ensures better than
original factory accuracy and corrects taper and out-of-round cylinder bores. Another benefit is that it
produces surface finish, size, roundness and straightness tolerances', equal to or better than the original
manufacturers' specs. The CV-616 produces consistent precision surface finishes, with uniform crosshatch
pattern in each cylinder. Pictured is a Buick V6 109 block with a BHJ torque plate installed.
This is our Winona Van Norman boring bar /
surfacer. Used to resurface engine blocks,
heads or intake manifolds for a truly flat mating
surface.
This is our Sunnen CH-100 align hone boring machine.
This is the best method for fast precision alignment of
main bearing bores. Absolutely a must when using a
Main Stud Girdle.
